Remembering those who served
The RSL, through the Sandgate RSL Sub Branch, provides vital advocacy services for the ex-service members in our community and our current serving members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF). The Returned Services League of Australia is a totally independent, apolitical organisation run by its members, for its members.
The wider community can join the RSL in commemorating all who have served, suffered, and died in war.
ANZAC Day (25 April) is the most important national day of commemoration for Australians.
Remembrance Day (11 November) marks the anniversary of the armistice which ended the First World War in 1918. It is the second of the two major national days of commemoration in Australia.

The Sandgate Sub-branch office is located in the building at the rear of the Clubhouse and opposite the Bowls Club.

THE OFFICE PROVIDES memberships, support services, a DVA Outreach Officer and Pension and Welfare Officers on a regular basis. Our Welfare Officers are available from 7.30 am most mornings, and you can contact them on 3869 1475 for information, or to make an appointment. |
The DVA Outreach Officer visits the Sub-Branch on the 3rd Thursday of each month except December/January. Welfare and Pension Officers are also available in the Sub-Branch. Please phone 07 3269 1135 for all appointments.
The Sandgate RSL Citizen’s Auxiliary is also a strong force in the Community and is always happy to welcome new members. For further information you can contact them on (07) 3869 0279.

Are you currently serving or have you previously served with a defence force (Australian or another country) for a minimum of 6 months? If so, you’re eligible to become a member of the Sandgate RSL Sub-Branch. Enquire with the sub-branch office today about membership, or becoming a Life Subscriber.
